Bike math will tell you this is a steep climb. (Horse Creek version:32 Miles 4,000 Feet of Gain) But also included in this NEW version of the O’Leary Landslide is teetering through two landslides. (Thanks to the Dirty Roads Crew, we won’t be crawling over trees as well!). The reward? A road closed off to everyone else except us! (Includes green magic moss on the roads which this time of the year is crunchy!). So it’s a bit of an adventure which means make sure you bring your Tom Sawyer attitude.
The Route: O’Leary Landslide Loop (Horse Creek version). Check the Routes and Options section to find the gpx file/map.We’ll average about 8 -10 mph. Due to the remoteness of the ride, the group will regroup frequently. We don’t recommend ebikes on this because you need to be able to carry your bike over rocks.
