Why List Your Event on Dirty Freehub?
Dirty Freehub exists to grow the gravel cycling community across the West—not just through routes, but through the people, relationships, and shared experiences. We currently serve 20,000+ gravel cyclists, see 500–1,000 riders on the site every day, and reach riders from British Columbia to Southern Arizona—all states west of the Rockies.
To better support grassroots and regional events, we’re now offering free event listings on Dirty Freehub. Join the team!
What You Get
- Free promotion on Dirty Freehub’s Events page.
- Exposure to a highly engaged gravel cycling audience.
- Editorial support: we’ll help shape your listing so it’s clear, compelling, and consistent.
- Association with a trusted, community-first gravel brand.
- Visibility alongside other grassroots and regional gravel events across the West Coast.
Who This Is For
- Small and mid-sized gravel-focused events.
- Promoters with limited marketing budgets or reach.
- Events that prioritize connection, participation, and community.
Our Community Partnership Model
To keep this program free and sustainable, we ask event promoters to partner with us in a few simple ways. By submitting an event, you agree to:
-
Share Dirty Freehub with your participants
Allow us to include a short Dirty Freehub description in your event newsletter so riders can discover our free gravel resources. We will even write the copy. -
Support rider education (when applicable)
If your event includes swag bags, give Dirty Freehub the opportunity to include a small educational or promotional item, such as a gravel cycling guidebook. -
Support the volunteers who support the community
Provide 1–3 complimentary event entries that Dirty Freehub can share with our volunteer crew as a thank-you for the work they do to support gravel cycling. For larger, higher-cost, or multi-day events, one entry—or none at all—may be most appropriate. Our goal is a true win-win: a positive outcome for both the event promoter and Dirty Freehub.
How Events Are Posted
When your event is approved, it will appear on Dirty Freehub in two ways:
- On the Events listing page as a short, easy-to-scan summary that helps riders quickly understand what your event is about.
- On its own dedicated event page with more details and a clear link out to your official event website for registration and updates.
How Events Are Selected
- All submissions are reviewed by Dirty Freehub.
- Events must be gravel-focused and align with our community values.
- Free and paid events are welcome.
- We reserve the right to edit event listings for clarity, tone, and consistency.
- We reserve the right to decline posting an event if another similar event is already scheduled for the same date within a four-hour driving distance.
The Big Picture
When you list your event on Dirty Freehub, you’re not just getting promotion—you’re helping build a stronger, more connected gravel cycling community across the West.
