We’re excited to host a special Dirty Freehub community ride with Dana Buckendahl—a familiar face on our rides and someone with a story you won’t want to miss.Dana might be a “regular,” but she’s anything but. After 33 years working at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend, she took a bold turn and followed a long-held dream: creating and performing her own one-woman comedy show.
Now 64, Dana has been performing locally since 2014 and is fully focused on making people laugh. Her show, Doucheology, is a multimedia stand-up experience that explores everything from 1970s and 80s feminine hygiene ads to modern-day “douchebag” culture in Bend. It’s smart, unexpected, and hilarious.
On this ride, Dana will share what it was like to bring her show to life—and along the way, she’ll perform a few short snippets so you can experience it firsthand.

We will be riding the following route: Westside Tour. Please make sure you register so you know the exact start location. The event will be cancelled if the weather is bad. The route is 25 miles with 1,300 feet of gain.
