Rolling gravel, high-desert views, and a backroad adventure along the edge of the Maury Mountains
We’re heading out near Brothers, Oregon for Little Brother: a 37-mile gravel loop with about 1,700 feet of climbing, rolling farmland, desert sage, colorful rhyolite and basalt cliffs, and a few flowing creeks along the way.
This route skirts the southern edge of the Maury Mountains, part of the Ochoco National Forest, and lands on the friendlier end of the adventure scale: mostly rolling terrain, moderate technical difficulty, and 100% gravel.
