Dust off your saddle and kick off the season at Gorge Gravel, an early-spring gravel grinder built to test your fitness and launch your training for the grand tour of gravel, the Oregon Trail Gravel Grinder in June. The Gorge Grinder returns in 2026 with the most extensive course redesign in event history. This one-day event offers three distance options suited for first-time gravel riders, experienced gravel gurus, and elite cyclists alike.

All routes are brand new, guiding riders west from Dufur into the foothills of the Cascade Range and through scenic sections of the Mount Hood National Forest. Expect buttery-smooth gravel, ever-changing scenery, and routes naturally sheltered from spring winds. Race weekend returns to Dufur City Park with camping, upgraded aid stations, and a welcoming festival-style atmosphere.
