This route is from the 2018 gravel race course in and around the China Hat / Horse Butte area of the same name. We made some minor modifications to the original route, adding in a bit of single track. JenK, who did the race in 2018 describes the route as “Some great, smooth gravel … some not so great red cinder gravel … some thick pumice sand … and some washboard. That’s what you get on a gravel ride! Epic views.”

Caution, this is a Development Route. It has not been fully vetted or ridden by the Dirty Freehub Team. Go prepared and expect a bit more adventure. Any feedback you have would be much appreciated. You can leave it below in the comments block.
