Ride
Oregon Tour De Outback

By Lake County Chamber of Commerce / Lakeview, Oregon

In the high desert of southeastern Oregon, the Oregon Tour de Outback delivers more than just road & gravel rides. Cyclists travel hundreds of miles to experience quiet highways, rugged gravel roads, and the rare combination of adventure and genuine small-town hospitality that defines Lake County. From the moment riders arrive, it feels less like an event and more like being welcomed into a community.

This year features all-new road & gravel routes and a central gathering space at Camp Tour de Outback at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Lakeview, Oregon — offering both scenic road rides and challenging gravel adventures. Well-stocked rest stops, attentive support, and friendly volunteers turn every mile into an experience rather than a test.

“I’ve never ridden a more welcoming and friendly bike event. The route, scenery, support, food – everything is top tier.”
Sam Stuckey — Molalla, Oregon

Every mile also serves a purpose. The Oregon Tour de Outback directly benefits Lake County Search and Rescue, supporting the volunteers who protect locals and visitors alike. Riders quickly realize they are part of something meaningful; not just passing through, but giving back.

By the end of the weekend, participants leave with new friendships, lasting memories, and a reason to return. It is, in every sense, great rides, great fun, for a great cause.
