Condor Gravel Challenge

By Visit San Benito County / Central California

Condor Gravel Challenge invites riders to experience the rolling landscapes and rich history of California’s San Benito County. Hosted by Visit San Benito, this inaugural event celebrates gravel riding, open space, and the remarkable natural beauty of the Cienega Valley.

Participants gain rare access to roads that pass through the privately held Paicines Ranch, where oak dotted hills, grasslands, and thriving wildlife habitat reflect generations of land stewardship and ongoing ecological restoration. The ride also travels through the Hudner Ranch area of Hollister Hills SVRA with sweeping views of the Gabilan Range before continuing to Eden Rift, one of California’s oldest vineyard sites with roots dating back to 1849 along the San Andreas Fault.

After the ride, participants can gather for a lively Finish Line Festival with food, drinks, and music, while supporting the Pinnacles National Park Foundation and its work to protect California condors.
