Matt Scarborough is a trial attorney and lifelong cyclist based in Bend, Oregon and Tampa, Fl. He has raced bikes for over 34 years — starting on Florida singletrack in the early ‘90s and evolving into gravel and endurance events across the country. He is the founder of Scarborough Bicycle Accident Law, a national cycling injury practice, and the creator of Rider Shield, a crash documentation and rider safety platform.
His firm sponsors Gravel Worlds, the Gone Riding Series, and Mudslinger Events, and his athlete team includes Ted King, Stefano Barberi, Chase Wark, and the Bonk Bros. Matt has tried cases to jury verdict across the country for over three decades and holds the highest peer rating in the legal profession. He joins the Dirty Freehub board to support the organization’s mission of connecting cyclists to the places they ride through exploration, storytelling, and community.
