Lisa Sipe lives a life steeped in creativity, entrepreneurship, and adventure. She is the co-founder of Binary Star Systems, a branding, web design, and digital marketing studio where she brings more than 20 years of award-winning experience helping businesses clarify who they are and shine online. She is also the co-founder of Wranglr, a software platform supporting nonprofit organizations that provide equine-assisted activities and therapies, and a creator of the FoodFu Cooking & Drinking Games mobile apps.

When she’s not building brands or platforms, Lisa is happiest outside or making something with her hands. She loves cooking, traveling, painting, pottery, running, hiking, SUPing, backpacking, and adventuring with her partner, Jim, and their two whippets, Willow and Clover. She is also the gallery owner of the first Free Little Art Gallery in Bend, Oregon, blending community, creativity, and accessibility to art.

Lisa’s relationship with cycling began behind the scenes. For years, she was the ultimate support crew for her partner, Dirty Freehub Gravel Champ Jim, coordinating logistics, hydration, and nutrition for more than a dozen 24-hour mountain bike races (her hard-earned wisdom: never let your racer get too comfortable at camp). Eventually, that sideline passion turned into a personal pursuit, and Lisa began racing and riding for herself.

These days, you’ll find Lisa exploring Central Oregon’s gravel and singletrack, logging trainer miles through the winter, and embracing the full Dirty Freehub ethos of adventure and curiosity. When the snow falls, she mixes in cross-country skiing and snowshoeing but spring miles are always top of mind. She even has her eyes on a 24-hour race in the future.

Her most-loved Dirty Freehub route is Water & Lava, thanks to its playful mix of gravel and singletrack and the fact that she can hop onto it right from her house.
