Jenn has loved bikes ever since her dad brought home a little yellow Huffy dirt bike when she was four. Her parents didn’t believe in training wheels, so she learned on the lawn to “avoid getting hurt”—which she promptly rewarded by breaking her arm. Once it healed, she was right back on two wheels and hasn’t stopped since. Her sense of adventure started even earlier, thanks to her mom, who took her on countless “mommy and me adventures,” a love of exploration Jenn carries with her as an adult.
Living in Central Oregon has allowed Jenn and her husband, Mark, to fully embrace a four-season multisport lifestyle. She dove deep into triathlon for many years, finishing twelve Ironman races and hosting triathlon training camps along the way before feeling the pull back to dirt and adventure. Wanting to enjoy being off-road without fully committing to mountain biking (and risking another broken arm), gravel turned out to be the perfect fit.
Skipping the idea of easing in, she jumped straight into gravel with the Oregon Trail Gravel Grinder stage race and was instantly hooked on the challenge, scenery, and self-supported adventure the sport offers.
Jenn and Mark are devoted animal lovers and have been foster parents with the Humane Society of Central Oregon, a commitment that has (predictably) resulted in a few foster fails. They live in rural Crook County, and many of Jenn’s favorite routes wind through the Ochocos—long, quiet, rugged miles that they ride on their Open WI.DE.s, bikes well suited to remote terrain and big days in the high desert.
Jenn enjoys leading rides that are welcoming, adventurous, and grounded in the simple joy of riding bikes together.

Behind every route is scouting, mapping, storytelling, and a whole lot of pedal power.
