Past Event: Group Gravel Ride: 36 miles, 3,200 feet of gain Post OR

Post is the dead center of Oregon surrounded by the Ochoco National Forest. The route is called Meatloaf and is named from the world famous meatloaf sandwiches served up by the Post store (which is highly decorated in stuffed animals and has a Western history that makes Billy the Kid envious.) The riding is superb … the route boasts one of the best downhills we can think of … so yes, that means you need to climb! The forests are thick with ponderosas covered in bright green wolf moss.

Where is POST? Just drive through Prineville and keep on going … Google says it takes one hour and twenty two minutes from Bend. Always good to plan for a coffee break in Prineville on your way. Lovely drive …

When: Aug 20th
We roll out of the parking lot at 9:30 am.
Where: Post General Store, Post, Oregon
